I was in New York recently, and while I was there, I had the pleasure of shooting a quaint little courthouse wedding. According to the bride, Racqui, this is exactly how she imagined her wedding to be like. “Im not a girly girl. I dont want a big ‘hollywood wedding,’ I just want something where my parents and sisters are there, you know, a quick ceremony, and then dinner afterwards.” We shot at New York’s highline park (an old railway converted into an elevated park) for their “day-after” session, which also allowed me to think of creative ways to use lighting that was readily available, either from the park itself or **ahem** my phone… (why yes, I DID light them with my iphone camera for a handful of shots)
enjoy the pics!
